Tranman fleet system for Wolseley UK
A new fleet management system will help Wolseley UK monitor and maintain its fleet of over 3,500 vehicles with greater accuracy and precision.
Scott Civzelis of information systems, and Ben Morton of fleet services, are currently replacing existing systems with the Tranman fleet management system, and expect it to go live by the end of February. Tranman will help to ensure that the company meets all the commercial and legal obligations of running one of the UK's largest fleets of vehicles. The market-leading system is used by the RAC, emergency services and the military.
Scott said, "Wolseley UK has grown so rapidly over recent years but old systems were becoming outdated. With Tranman we will have a better way of tracking all licensing, maintenance and repair costs over a vehicle's life."
Ben added: "Tranman allows us to be far more proactive in targeting problem areas, and helping drive down the costs of running the fleet. With this, we are able to offer a better service to the users of the fleet and our branches."
The new system will provide a wide range of up-to-date information, including details on fuel consumption and maintenance, which identifies where vehicles have become uneconomic to run. "We can make our fleet assets work harder for the business," said Scott.
